Bellum

Hello guys!
I'm here to tell you about the BELLUM online war (http://badc.sytes.net:88/).
I guess that most of you have heard about it and know that it's the best "thing" around, since it's the only war that strategy actually matters :rockon:
And that's a feature that many of us were looking for in an online war.

It looks a damned sight more complex than VEF or VWF - you got a little mini-guide to it all?

Thanos - how many people are playing this one in relation to VEF/VWF though?. The issue may not be whether we are interested in it, but rather whether there is enough people to get hosted games 8V8 off the ground...

Looks great.. and have checked out the link. Yet to be fair, I dont think I'm going to have the time to fight another online war just yet.

FOr the forseeable future, I shall be throwing myself, propellor whirring, into VEF/VWF/Coops and arranged dogfights.

Wish ya luck,, it looks a great project.. and probably one that I shall revisit at a later stage.

I'm with Hat (as usual) on that...if you get the right crowd you'll have a ball...but we're kinda involved in a war at the mo already .

That's the whole idea :)
To have as many decent pilots as it can be. That's why they don't accept everybody.

If you like strategy at all, then that is the game. If you only like the VEF dogfight-style games then it's ok :).

I'll be playing on both, that's for sure, BUT my preference will be BELLUM when available. And it only needs some more people to have BELLUM available more often.

It looks very interesting. Top marks for enterprise :)

Like Hat, I've not much time to get online at the moment, so I'm putting my effort into VWF and VEF, and brushing up my tardy skills in DF severs.

But I think I'll come along and have a look at some point.

by the way Thanos, what does 'BELLUM' mean/stand for?
