Does anyone know how to use gamertag offline GFWL

Hi all,

I'm borrowing F1 2011 off my mate as he's gone on holiday on launch date He said i can borrow his new game as long as i don't play online which is fair enough!

I'd like to get the achievements though. Is there any way of signing in to GFWL to log in to my account and then go offline to play the game?

unless your mate is buying the game as a download version tied to his gamertag or there's some restrictive DRM being used which limits the number of usernames being used with it (more likely to tie it to the computer hardware in which case) I don't see why you'll be restricted to playing it offline or with your own gamertag (obviously if there's an online activation code to use the multiplayer like with Mortal Kombat on the XBOX/PS3 then you wouldn't be able to use that).

I managed to do it. I can get achievements for my online account offline now

I didn't have my account saved on my GFWL client somehow.
