I was amazed when I heard on Top Gear last night, when they were talikng about the new MG, that the spitfire was designed for only £12500. I know that was a lot of money back in ye'olde day but for a plane of such calibre :eek:

Mr Mitchell Nothing short of genius, and sadly didnt live to see the impact his design had :(
