    IL2 online

Is it just me or is it near impossible to find a game online that isnt using AEP?

There are very few servers that don't use aep, its not too much to buy and its well worth the cash for the extra planes and maps,

Out of interest, what number of players are usually online in this game?

Ok, right now in Hyperlobby there are 152 Players online, and a further 293 online and in game

And thats not at peak time - can be up to around 800 online at some periods

However, the limit for a realistic (No lag/warping) game, with a monster connection (>2mbit) and a super-computer for the host, is about 32 players.

We fly VEF - which is usually missions of 8 v 8 but can be as small/big as 4v4 or 12 v 12

wow, i'm definitely gonna go get this soon. I usually play online at first for the game, then for the community when the novelty wears off (hence i no longer play C&C generals- 94 players online lol). if there are really that many pilots then i cant see why not
