    bf3 is not starting at all.

    after installing the battlefield 3 on my Q2C, it's not starting and giving following error:

    Battlefield 3 has stopped working.
    check online for solution
    close the program.

    my hardware configuration is:
    Q6600 Q2C 2.4 (no OC)
    4gb ram
    nvidia 8800gt 512
    drive nvidia 275.33
    mobo asus p5q
    creative sound card
    nvidia physx 9.11.1107
    windows 7 x64

    these are minimum requirements for BF3 but it should atleast run.

    Please advise.

    Update your graphics drivers 285.62 is the current one

    i also had an issue like this but everything i tried didnt work. I was very happy that it worked when i re installed windows (which i had to do anyway because the registry was broken) and ever since it has been working fine. if i can give any advice its that you should never use the EA online help people as i was stuck in a chat with one of them for 0mins and they just kicked me out without them helping me at all.

    I see you have a Creative Audio Card.. I've read about problems with audio cards and BF3.

    Try updating the drivers for that or even switching to on-board if possible.
