Something else to look forward to

Its getting very very close chaps. The cockpit needs weathering and a few gauges adjusting

the hawker tempest V has a napier saber engine (24 cylinders@2.400h.p.) using 4 hispanos as its main armement. in an emergency you could over boost it up to nearly 3.000h.p. and 4.000 revs and that = 460m.p.h. (not bad for a 7 ton plane that had a 4 blade 12foot long prop)

as for the typhoon...am not so clued up on, but i believed it had many problems in the engine side (sabre) and consturction, and towards the end ended up transforing itself to a tempest. The typhoon is basicly similar to the tornado then they took all the good parts and left the bad things of the typhoon and made a tempest.

    god bless Sydney Camm.

This may sound like a dumb qustion but what would cause the prop to bend like that in mid flight???? I could understand with an impact with the ground but in flight I cant see how????? Sorry for soundin stupid Nice pics by the way

I would think that this pic has been set up to demonstrate the total damage modelling that could be applied in deffirent circumstances - rather than what you are assuming.

However, prop bends seem to be implemented upon impact.... . and I can tell you from great experience.. that there are plenty of other flying things to run into mid flight

Its a full LOD (Level of Damage) Model. So to see the gun belts would require damage to both inner and middle wing sections for example.
