Nice to hear it. Was it overcast like in that EF photo all day? Did it drizzle at all?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Keep an eye out for an idiot in a David Beckham boot, with a crutch probably wearing a Netwings sweatshirt. Have a safe journey

Good day - not got a digital available so it will take a bit of time to get the 144 photos processed. Little bit of rain but minimal. Overcast for some of the day but also sections of good conditions.
Found some of the air displays a bit disappointing, the B1, B2 and B52 all made one pass down the flight line and that was it. In the past I have seen far longer displays from them

I thought the warbirds display at the end to remember d-day was also a bit naff and disjointed although the planes them selves were good.

The fast movers were something else! The F18 and F15 can sure climb fast and the Typhoon is no slouch either. It is my intention to post an article at www.netwings.org when the pics come through. I will post a link when I get it done

Apparantly a P51 had to make a forced landing on the way back from the display. He had an engine failure and had to do a wheels up landing in a field in Berkshire. Pilot safe and well.

It was certainly a very good show, although I was a little dissapointed with the display list at the go. To be honest, i'd rather let the big bombers get their shows over and done with, and move onto the interesting stuff (except possibly the B-1B). Particularly the amount of times i've seen them. I left Mildenhall at 4:45 in the morning, and arrived at the car park at 8:20. I left at 6 and got home at eleven lmao . I got lost and decided to go M-25, M-11, A-11, A-14 lmao, bad idea, but it's all I could do, I didn't know any other way. I have an hours worth of (rather shaky) video. Gonna work on it and find somewhere to upload it soon.

My firewire cable is broken, so i just bought one from eBuyer, tis only £1.99.
