The only viable alternative is to go for a 65W A8-3800 and an FM1 mini-ITX motherboard:

The Llano CPUs can be undervolted a reasonable amount too.

Viable alternative to what? I have already built the system,
Your processor is an Intel Core i3 2100T which has onboard HD Graphics 2000.
This anandtech article looked exactly at what sorts of games, at what sorts of settings, you can look for.
Generally you want to be thinking of classics like Civ4, although Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is playable.

System as shown, plus: Microsoft Wireless mobile 4000 mouse and Logitech Illuminated keyboard.
Sennheiser RS160 wireless headphones. Creative Gigaworks T40 SII. My wife. My Hexus Trust
That article is for the 2100, not the 2100T, which must mean I am truly stuffed!
I think what CAT meant was, if you're hoping to play games at reasonable settings and a discrete GPU is out of the question (which it probably is because of the case), the platform he suggested would be far more capable. Stuck with what you have, you're limited to older titles and some newer games at lower settings.
Don't pay much attention to the minimum/recommended specs on games; people often make the massive mistake of comparing only video memory. Also remember that game was released when Intels IGPs weren't rreally capable of any sort of gaming so the spec lists often ignored them.
The 2100T uses the same IGP as the 2100 so performance in GPU-limited games should be similar.
Games to play on that?

Less facetiously, games from 2009-2010 will be on the edge of unplayably jerky on minimum settings. Anything older should be playable, again on minimum settings.
Mostly, though some recent games have targetted the HD 2000/3000 quite well. How does 96.5 fps on Starcraft II sound?42fps for Dragon Age:Origins is more than playable. WoW at just under 40fps is likewise. HAWX 54fps. (All from the anandtech review linked a few posts up).
Shooters though.. generally not.
Well of course they're reasonable, or they wouldn't included in the game options. It's not like Oldblivion![]()
Starcraft II on low is still a hoot to play I'd expect, though there's probably room to up the settings a bit. Let's face it, you wouldn't have this computer if you were concerned with wizz-bang graphics first and foremost![]()
Hey why not half life 1? still a great gameteam fortress 2 should run ok on low settings & res
