    LO:MAC, only eight planes?

After hearing such good things about LO:MAC i decided I would buy it. I went online to gameplay.co.uk and read the information thing and it tells me there are only 8 flyable planes. I know it sounds a bit stuck up but 8 planes, I know they are all good A10 and Fulcrums but still, not many. Do you get any new planes in any of the patches?
    Cheers

Nope eight is eight, and three of them are variants of the MiG-29 Fulcrum. These highly detailed modern simulated aircraft are rather different from their highly detailed not-so-modern simulated aircraft. The have Radar's, Radar Warning Receivers, Electronic Countermeasures, Head's Up Displays, Head Down Display's, PACS, Rippling, CCRP etc, as well as modelling of things like Radar Cross Section and ECM Burn-Through, Beaming and other methods of taking advantage of Pulse Dopplar Radar, Laser Range Finding and Infrared Search and Track Systems (IRSTS) and Electro-Optical Sensors. Having said that the sim lacks in some areas so eight might seem a bit stingy to some, but you'll probably spend a while learning to use all of them effectively. Oh, and 8 is a lot for a modern combat jet sim really.

To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
