Ok here is afew ideas crazyness like Borderlands, Saints Row series and also suggest Bioshock, what about Team fortress 2(which is free via steam) or Half life 2 ?

Another shout for STALKER. Get the Complete 2009 mod for it too and it fixes a lot of silly bugs (that I didn't really see when I first played it in 2007 admittedly, but I know people had them) and gives it an amazing graphical and audible make over. (Complete 2012 is in development and is sure to make it even better).

I've just started playing through stalker again and I absolutely love it I think it may actually be my favourite ever FPS game.
