Razer Onza or Microsoft controller for Windows?
I've been playing games for more than 12 years with KB+Mouse and have never used a controller before. Games are becoming more and more controller optimized and I have an Eyefinity setup that would give a better experience with a gamepad, so I decided to get one
I've narrowed my options to Razer Onza TE BF3 Edition (Wired):

And Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows :

They both seem pretty good, but have heard very mixed views on razer products...
Which one is better ?
Re: Razer Onza or Microsoft controller for Windows?
I haven't used the onza, but have been using a 360 pad on the pc for the last few years, if It's a console port. Some games play really well with it such as GTA IV and other driving games. Imo its the most comfortable pad you can get, It's not too expensive and if you have a 360, then you get a spare too.
Re: Razer Onza or Microsoft controller for Windows?
Ive been using a wired 360 pad for the past few years too. Its great for racing games and games like grand theft auto. Though I still prefer to use mouse and keyboard for anything that requires aiming and shooting. Using the 360 pad for this just makes the fighting slow and boring. Its more faster paced if you dont disable the auto aim but that just feels like cheating :( .
Luckily most games you can easily switch between the two as and when needed. I use it for the odd indie game too.
Too be honest I wouldnt spend too much on one so would go for the wired 360 pad over the onza.

Bear in mind that if you get a 360 wireless controller then you have to get MS Crossfire (think thats what its called) adaptor, which is the wireless receiver. In fact, here is a link though it might be cheaper now elsewhere. When I got mine, it was in a bundle.
