Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean
Yup I m looking to do the same my comp is over 6 years old and i m waiting on ivy bridge and nvidia has something newer than the 680gtx ... hmm
it should all have a nice downward impact on the price market ...
Quick note for any ATI owners out there, apparently latest Catalyst 12.4 will not be compatible with Diablo 3 at release, so are advising to roll back to older drivers.....

Or not, as that statement appears to have been retracted.
They've confirmed that propitiatory drivers/hardware eg laptops may flag up incompatible warnings, but these are just warnings, same as most system checks that games sometimes use where they check a list of known hardware/driver versions.
Several people have confirmed 12.4 are working fine in beta, and I've got no problems with them for any other games either.
EDIT: That thread was deleted, but the same support guy is saying the same thing (12.4 causing problems) in this thread: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/4796071118
Clarified: This issue only affects users of ATI Radeon™ HD 2400, 2600, 2900, 3400, 3600 and 4500 graphics cards under Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Blizzard have announced a couple of things which may or may not affect you, but it's best to check to avoid problems on release day.
Firstly if you've had any form of D3 (i.e. betas) installed then read this: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/3980578358
and if you're an ATI user install the 12.4a graphics drivers to fix graphics issues with some cards (but it wont hurt to install even if you don't have an affected card): http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/4876967911 Direct link to drivers
