Sorry Blizzard, I should not need to be connected to the internet to play a game, whatever you might think. Time to go and check on Torchlight 2 rumours, I think...

Im not happy, still havent got into the beta! I want a demo to be out before the launch though, im still trying to decide how bad they have made the game, apparently alot of changes from d1/2 . My preorder with amazon for £22 is making me slightly happier though knowing as a blizzard game it will stay expensive for years!

I can see myself buying it despite myself. its diablo after all. but I'm not happy about that persistent net connection - I really don't consider this an mmo (does anyone?).

It's not an MMO, in exactly the same way that SCII wasn't an MMO but still required a persistent internet connection. Blizzard are just trying to tie everyone onto battle.net. Not impressed at all.

It was ~£20 pre-order (pay on dispatch) for ages. SC2 was likewise cheaper if you got it early. Unfortunately unlike SC2, D3 really does require a persistent online connection apparently.

Hmm, think I will wait for an review before I buy it, have not been that impressed with the look of the game so far.

Yeah I was looking to pre-order but all the prices are pretty standard ie. £30+ on most etailers. There is one for £25 from some place called game connection but never heard of them so will just go for someone established. Now just need to finish my other games to make way!

I found that there are many questions about Diablo 3 on yahoo
so cant sure which one is reliable...

As in, at the time I posted, most of the prices on online retailers are about the level I would expect for a new title, which is about £30 or a few pounds more. Which is a darn sight better than the £44.99 that Blizzard want directly.

Oh, i see...and i also find that some site bargain it for $58.99
and Diablo III Collector Edition calls for even higher price

I've never played Diablo but i understand Torchlight is fairly similar.

Should i be interested in this game?
