    Need a new mouse

    Hi everyone,

I guess this thread should be in here, but not really sure. Anyway, I need a new mouse.

I've been using a Razer Copperhead for about 4 years and it's recently started having issues turning itself off or double clicking the right mouse button - quite annoying when trying to scope on BF3.

    My requirements are as follows:

    - Must be able to have easily selectable 800 (on foot BF3), 1600 (in a tank) and 2000+ (general use/other games) dpi settings
    - 4 programmable buttons (I currently use the two thumb buttons for crouch and grenades and the right buttons for DPI up/down)
    - Ideally adjustable weight - I'd like to try this out as I always felt the Copperhead was a little too light

My budget is up to £45 (no more really). So far I've been tempted by the Logitech G500, Saitek Cyborg R.A.T 5 and the CoolerMaster Sentinel Zero-G.

    Thanks in advance.

If you can stand the MW3 logo, then it is a pretty good deal. Or you go attack it with spray paint.

    Re: Need a new mouse

Oooh, very nice. The G9x was a consideration, but £75 is insane outlay. I could probably stand the logo, it'll rub off after a while, else I could probably attack it with a nail file....

Edit: Ordered. Hopefully they won't have run out of stock. Any idea how long Logitech's standard shipping usually is? Foolishly, I could have ordered a plain Comfort Grip for £5, but didn't think to look. Oh well, I'll live with the CoD logo, it'll be under my hand anyway.

From this thread its people are reporting it takes around 2 days, I ordered mine on Friday and ETA is Tuesday. Pretty fast considering they are coming from Netherlands.

    Re: Need a new mouse

Excellent, I was hoping it wouldn't take too long, but if it's travelling from the Netherlands a couple of days is pretty good (although despite placing it at 10.30pm, the order time is 5pm....).

    Re: Need a new mouse

You can. £5 from Logitech. Unfortunately I didn't look when I placed the order and would now have to pay delivery. I'll wait until I need something else from them and tack one on.

Send them an email, it might not be too late to request an additional item with your order.

    Re: Need a new mouse

Annoyingly (well, not really) I just had the email saying UPS now have it. Oh well, if the logo really bothers me I'll have to do an order again.

Expectd delivery the 28th March, so 2 days is about right. Pretty impressive in my book.

    Re: Need a new mouse

I'm surprised there aren't more mice with d-pads. It's an excellent feature to have. I love my Saitek cyborg. Best gaming mouse I've ever bought and I used to have a Logitech G5 and I wouldn't buy any other mouse now. Unfortunately I'll probably have too, because Saitek have canned it. I just hope mine lasts. I can't believe they canned it for the new RAT series and they have even removed the 4 way d-pad, which was the best feature.
