BF3 Viewing Distance GTX 460

Hello,

Noticed particularly when sniping my draw distance is awful compared to other people playing this game, all graphics settings set the same but no joy.

Machine this was run on was a Q6600, 4GB RAM, GTX 460....about to be changed to an I5-3570K, ASROCK Extreme4 and 8GB RAM....

Do you think it's the RAM causing it as i'd heard it likes to have 4-4.5GB for itself or the GTX 460 or a setting somewhere thats not on as default that i cant find

Any pointers much appreciated, very annoying when other snipers i'm playing with can see me but i cant see them lol

When I went from 4GB to 8GB of ram I saw a much bigger performance increase on BF3 than I had expected, but then i'm not a lame Sniper so I can't specifically tell you what the effect was on draw distance :P

The q6600 its holding it back, at least 8gb ram as well though

lol @ lame sniper...i play all classes just get my grrr on when i can't see as much as everyone else...8GB of RAM and Ivy now compared to before BF3 is flying...crazy quick...before the game couldn't keep up with me and now i'm having to react a bit quicker...it's a good thing though :D
