Now, once again, we are one

well, nearly......a few MA missing, but none the less, a superb night It would be impossible to get us all up in one hit...we are too.....varied

Thanks to Hat for hosting the warm up and then to Luke for the VEF's.

But most thanks go to TiG......not many souls are brave enough to attempt KEYBOARD FLIGHT online.

    S! Mighty TiG

Really enjoyed it....got back in the mould pretty quickly, and except for the obvious total lack of gunnery thats snuck back into my repetoire of moves, it went pretty smoothly. But having spotted those Stuka's I flew in amongst the entire lot and didnt get a kill

but being true to myself I then sodded off and went for home. Got harried by a 109 , knew he was there, and pulled a tight one in my Yak9, dropped 2000 metres up to 600 kph prop pitch to 80%, and went running home.

Cheers guys.....1 Bail and 1 returned

You know my secret to actually flying okay, and if we're paying Credit here Zak gets it, i mapped control surfaces to the roller on the left hand side of my keyboard, and then used huge amount of control surfaces to help turning so i wasn't having to hurt my speed by using up and down arrows.

After getting shot up by one of the german planes i ended up with no elevators or rudder, which made the plane almost unflyable, so i was turning back and forth always heading up into the sky.

Landing was interesting, turning inverted at 1100m to try and lower my height, nearly ended up with me smashing into the ground, but sorted me out so i was at around 100m, throttled back to 40%, put all flaps and gear down. got over the run way and put all control surfaces on to help landing and it worked.

Not going to change that now, as using those control surfaces worked an absolute treat.

Was an excellent flight. Just pleased to be able to fly with you guys more now, especially now i've got broadband in High Wycombe too

Its a shame you joined the game a few weeks after me...all that time ago all I heard all the time was "trim trim trim" for weeks and weeks

    I took it to heart

....and I got two LANDED in a row, which is a rare feat!! (ok, my plane was upside down on both occasions, but nonetheless... I landed!!) AND I now has positive VEF points
    It was a good night!

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.
