All I can say is that it works.
It's my understanding that obtaining Battlefield 3 outside of the country you reside in, can cause difficulties with patches and playing online? Plus it all seems a bit dodge! Or maybe I'm just being old-fashioned.
What's the cheapest folks have seen BF3 available at retail?
Personally I don't think that Premium is bad value, if you're the sort of player who's a fan of the series and likely to be getting all the DLC anyway.
you pick the language you want, you cant even pick india as a language when using the proxy
and trust me premium is universal as RSP's around the world were given keys each to be redeemed anywhere.

Wouldn't want to risk my account, since EA are pretty ban-happy.
I don't trust Proxies, especially if you have to enter any usernames and Passwords as you don't know how that information is processed or saved

Not risking it either.
BF3 Premium, my wife just got it for me and the DLC`s you get and extra guns, vehicles are awesome. my wife figured it was cheaper to get the group than buy individually. what I do to play is use a mouse and the left hand side of an Xbox 360 controller . a really good program to get is called pinnacle game pro filer. it works for Xbox type PC controllers, or a ps3 type controller for your computer and joysticks as well. it helps me a lot due to health issues. It may seem that EA is trying to milk as much money they can out of you but in my opinion they are better than activision and its call of duty franchise. I play cod 4 modern warfare and the other previous games until they started the elite program to pay monthly and not have to buy map packs. I guess it is a matter of opinion on what side of the fence you are on; they are both good games.
Have a great day everyone!
not liking the premium dont fancy paying £40.00 on expansions when we should in fact get them for free for keeping the game alive and buying the game in the first place!
I brought bf3 premium and I feel after playing the close quarters for about an hour it is worth £10, quite a few new assignments (which are challenging, getting an EOD kill LOL) the maps are good, the game modes are good (although conquest domination does feel a bit like conquest on speed) and the quality is good. I just hope DICE keep up the quality level for all the other map packs.
I don't think im gonna buy premium, for £40 it does seem a tad high and I'd rather spend that much towards the next game in the Battlefield series.
I'm not going to buy the new maps any time soon, Price is too high for me. Will wait for them to drop in price
