My introduction to gaming on home computers was back in the early 80s, when writing your own was the most exciting game to be played. Oh the hours I spent poking ascii characters in the vein hope they might look like a Tie-Fighter if I squinted hard enough :grin:
No mention of the Championship/Football Manager games? Currently got 100-ish hours on 2012, and I've barely played it compared to previous games.
Some of these games mentioned take me back a long way, and once had a 286 and played Wolfenstein 3-D - bloody hell, that so many years ago!
Got to be either Far Cry or Solitaire
Excluding online play would almost certainly have to be the X series of games. Nothing better than building your empire and slaughtering pirates!
GTA VC, no other GTA has ever matched it for style and feel.

Easily Football Manager probably followed by Fallout and I'm prone to a lapse into a bit of the old classic Transport Tycoon now and again.

Almost certainly the most hours on Age of Empires, especially if you're counting remakes like Galactic Battlegrounds.
If we're counting console games - TimeSplitters 2.
Football Manager - 300 hours
Brilliant game, can't get enough of it!
Probably something in the Ultima or Might & Magic series. More recently it would be Starcraft 2 in campaign or AI skirmish mode. Although I did clock up a lot of hours on Might & Magic Heroes 6 as well. Quite fun for a (very) buggy game with poor game balance.
Elite and Gunship - both titles on my C64 when I had the time and energy to do a lot of gaming!
Now that I'm old and grumpy, I've probably racked up the most offline gaming in Company of Heroes and Minecraft.
Would have to be the Mass Effect series for me (not the multiplayer though). I have more hours invested in that than I'd like to think about >.<
