how bad is it compared to the beta a couple months ago? It was terrible when i played it , worse than cod/bf3 and MUCH MUCH MUCH worse than CSS/CS which are the best imo.

Its hardly trying to compete with cod/bf3 on graphics though is it.

Looking forward to playing Zombie Mod in the new engine, loved that game so much before Left 4 Dead.

Maybe play a few rounds in :mapname: where I do some awesome vent camping as Terrorist.

For a tenner it is a bargain. I now have to wait for it to download 5gb of files which will take... about 3 days!

    Re: Counter Strike: Global Offensive

I was a dedicated player of CS back in the day and I tried playing CS:S again recently, was crushed beyond belief... Maybe I'm just too old now and the reflexes have gone.

Would love to enjoy CS like the old days but even for a tenner I was hoping for more from this, the new game modes sound interesting so maybe that alone will be worth it but can feel already that I'll be totally destroyed by hardcore players the moment I log on!

    Re: Counter Strike: Global Offensive

These new gameplay modes may get me back in to CS, not played for a few years.

Looking forward to giving this a try. Not been on CS since 1.6 so expect to have my ass handed to me early on but hopefully will get back in to the swing on things

    Re: Counter Strike: Global Offensive

Really liking CS:GO, better than CS:S in my opinion though I really sucked at that. I've been in the beta since early this year, and though it's got better, definitely still more buggy than it should be. For example demos result in missing UI and the private match option in lobbies doesn't work unless you spend forever port forwarding instead of it using uPnP.
