I can only imagine he went up in a helibopper.

If so congrats as they are soo much fun, when I was a cadet we were allowed to "borrow" a spare Lynx for half an hour whilst on exercise (being a Staff Flight Sergeant and knowing the bloke in charge of the exercise has its benefits). We all strapped in the back and the pilot showed us that not only fixed wing aircraft can do aerobatics.

    N1 Tumble

Helichoppers are fun - I re-installed Fs2004 recently just to fly the whirlybirds, in fact I spent all night practicing landing my Huey on an oil-rig, blimmin' tricky I can tell you

I have to add my 2p to this..... it was WICKED!! and im the one who closes my eyes and pray's everytime we taxi down a runway (only been on two flights, one two dublin and the other iom )

But that was so coool, even managed to not to be sick when i noticed us heading sideways to the floor very quickly!

Was absolutely fantastic and i probably wont get to do that again, cos i wont be able to afford it

Is it just me, or are you landing that jetranger underwater?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
