Rome Total War 2 -- Anounced! (quite some time ago)

Activision has announced the sequel to arguably the best game in the total war series, the first with real 3d battles etc etc.

The game is particularly close to my heart as It was pretty much the first real pc game I played, and the sequel looks epic.

lol, lots of epic sequels coming out soon, COH 2, RTW 2, etc

Very, very excited. Napoleon and Shogun 2 on the LAN took away several long nights in my 2nd year of uni, I dread to think what will happen in the 3rd

Darthmod was excellent, really makes for big battles.
Still a game i play now and again, which can't be said for many of the other total war games (all of which i did really enjoy though)
Really can't wait for this

I have medieval 2 which is superb.

I lost a lot of time to the first one but haven't played anything since, be interesting to keep an eye on it to see how it develops

I'm buying a new PC so I can enjoy this game to its full potential, yeah
