Recommend me some games

I have run out of games to play on PC.

Anyone got any suggestions? I like FPS games and games like AC.

Have you played Homefront, single player is decent blast and the multiplayer is actually fun.

Kingdoms of Amalur has just come out and is a pretty good hack and slash type RPG, Alan Wake is available on 16th on Steam according to the store page.

Another vote for Skyrim, great fun. Also I am playing Fallout3 atm which I hadn't got around to playing until now, seems very good.

Amnesia is good, very atmospheric and creepy, and if you want a change, a recommended recent adventure game is The Book of Unwritten Tales, clever puzzles, and entertaining gameplay.

For a crack at a Tribes game its alright, its not, however Tribes 2 or Tribes 2 classic. A massive step backwards, the game is nowhere near ready to be used for the old ladder games to be played on it etc :/ Decent Tribes FPS update, toss for competitive play which is how most the Tribes community played the previous games.

Played Crysis2 already - what a waste of time! Portal Mass effect - story was good but combat system ( choose what ammo from this menu during fight ) , Fallout gfx , Borderlands gfx Metro2033 nahhh

Has anyone tried NFS The Run ?

Ohho.. have never played GRAW! APB reloaded also looks good. Anyone played these?

Dont think that NFS the Run is to great, borrowed it from a friend on PS3, just seems to be missing something. Played it for a few hours then it just got put to one side until he wanted it back.

If you want a NFS game I would suggest either Hot Pursuit, Shift series or Most Wanted.

If you have Origin they have a sale on at the minute, all shooters.

Things like MoH which is REALLY good and Bulletstorm which is also excellent for under a tenner. Played through both of these more than once and enjoy them, love the humour in Bulletstorm.

I picked up MoH Airborne for £2.50 to replace my 360 copy.

Have played Deus Ex:Human Revolution. Havent played BF2 or BF3. Are the singleplayers good for either?

Mass Effect 2 fixed the inventory system and tweaked the combat so that might still be worth a look. If you're after a single player FPS BF3 wouldn't be my first choice tbh, Bad Company 2 was more enjoyable in that regard (for me at least) other than that sticking to FPS's have you played any of the STALKER games? Red Orchestra 2? Maybe even Rage?

As far as NFS games go I'm with Ferral, I wouldn't bother with The Run either. Personally Hot Pursuit is by far my favourite recent NFS title

I played through the game again recently with my HD5850 1GB. Framerates are much smoother and the game now looks fantastic.

Mass Effect 2 has an entirely different combat system.

Funny,that Portal 2 has been voted one of the best games made in the last year.

Not really. The scale games is massive,unlike a walled in shooter and it has a story too. Plus with custom textures looks really good.

Its cel shaded so actually quite imaginative in its art direction.

Apart from the fact it looks fantastic and actually has atmosphere.

TBH,I usually don't care either way when it comes to games, as one mans meat is another ones poison, but since you had the time to add puke tags to only my answer, I thought I would go to the effort too.

So basically you want a walled in,linear game with no story line,no scale,no decent art direction and no atmosphere and looks crap.
