    Can't un-instal Batman Arkham City

I am going to be rebuilding my PC shortly and I have Batman Arkham City installed, this has a limited number of installations allowed and I want to un-instal so I don't use one up on a hard drive that will be taken to a dump as it is not far from completely failing. The trouble is I can't see it in my Add Remove programs list, I can't see it when I use an Uninstaller program but it is showing up in my list of Steam games, how can I remove this program and get back that activation to use again? Does anyone know?

Are you sure you can even get the activation back.

Every time I have ever seen limited installs it usually meant you could install it a fixed number of times after which you would have to contact the developer for more activation's.

It did not make any difference if you uninstalled it or not.

    ---edit---

    try this I just read:

Run BatmanAC.exe with option /revoke before you format and it should revoke the licence from the installed copy ready to be used again.

All securom games can get licenses back by running the exe with the /revoke option (create short cut from exe, add /revoke at the end of the target) . Then uninstall the game.

However nearly all also revoke on uninstall as well these days.

Re: Can't un-instal Batman Arkham City

Thanks guys, I tried it, I had to create a bat file to run the .exe with the command line modifier and then got a dialog to confirm I wanted to revoke my activation, so all done now.
