forget TeamSpeak to start with...we all learned by typing.

If smeone sets up a server with EXTERNALS on and you fly just in the cockpit, then the tutor can follow you with his external camera....

Dabeenster. Welcome to the world of real hardcore online flying. It is hard beyond hard.

But it is the best ever thing. Promise.

You ok with basic controls? Have you set "Toggle Gunsight" view to an easy button. Gunsight doesnt really magnify, it LINES UP YOUR EYE with the Gunsight lense. So when turning you are much closer to the gunsight. In a German plane it is VITAL because the gunsights are often miles to the right, and you have to get your pilot to lean into the sight. Its also good for looking"around" canopy struts

You could also do with setting Snap To Straight Ahead to a convenient button, so when you look around you can look straight ahead with no panic.

Hit F9 to toggle bewteen SNAP TO and PAN VIEW with the hat switch.

Dixon's have got both Fb and the expansion pack at half price at the second - so at £14.98 for the pair I couldn't resist!

I've not played a flight sim for a while, mind, and this is a bit different from f-15 III and gunship 2000. This game is going to take some effort, but its already great fun.
I tried out a couple of groundpounding missions last night - I've obviously got to learn to be more gentle on the controls (and how to recover from a spin). Also got to work on gentle braking upon landing, so I don't end up with the nose buried at the end of the runway again!
