    Metro 2033's awesome save system

    Not...

I wish I could return games on steam, even if the game only set me back £2.50.

As a game, Metro 2033 is good, very good. But what sucks, hard, is the half assed save system. There's no manual save system, I can't even select chapters I've already have cleared because my latest and only "auto save" has gone kaput...

The only way forward now is to start a new game and replay the game 7 hours back to where I was before, while that's not the biggest issue, it's replaying those bloody stealth missions again, where the game will inexplicably auto save the second I'm spotted.

I'm disappointed, I don't think I can bring myself to play this game again.

I highly disagree that the Metro save system should be regarded as a game killer. The game atmosphere and story are absolutely bar none.

I agree that the save system is pretty terrible but it is not a reason not to buy the game, just make sure you have a PC of god like proportions if you want to max it out
