I really like Battlefield 3, I would buy it if you have patience but I really don't recommend it if you enjoy the speed of CoD.

Re: BATTLEFIELD 3 - To buy or not to buy?

If your looking for tips and tricks love him or hate him rivalxfactor on youtube has some great tips on how to improve your game. Check out his mouse settings video for eg. Also take a look at levelcap too he has some good chopper tips, Jackfrags not a bad one to watch too some helpful tips and hes pretty good at replying to questions too.

I love Battlefield 3 and much as I hate the lack of patches and the lack of communication from EA/DICE I will no doubt pre order battlefield 4 too yes I am one of those people lol. The simple fact is there is no other FPS game that comes close in terms of gun play, destruction, looks, and even team play. It has its faults of that there can be no denying but omg its fun to play especially with friends.
Feel free to look me up on battlelog if your looking for someone to ptfo with pFm-ShavedApe

Re: BATTLEFIELD 3 - To buy or not to buy?

BF3 is a great game -- its has its + and its - (I feel sorry for all the admins myself ;-) but on the whole if you like a game where you can play with a big group of people or even if its only a 4 players in a squad using team work to win the battle then this is a must for you but this also helps and depends on the server's SCAN servers are very good and would recommend you try these server out first :-)

GamesPlanet's offer is back (even cheaper than before)

    Battlefield 3 + Premium bundle as a PC "download" - £19.99 (offer ends 07/01/13)

Now back to £39.99. Strange, the offer was supposed to last for another 3 days.

Re: BATTLEFIELD 3 - To buy or not to buy?

To buy. I played it mainly on Xbox, however PC so far seems great. Completely different mind set when it comes down to the players you face.

I do however find it a bit more annoying to get into a game on PC.

Massive amounts of difference installing on the SSD. Its the difference between a ford escort and a ford escort RS ;D
