Mission download question

In the netwings download sight I chose several missions that seem interesting. In the instructions it reads...

"Lead your IL-2 Sturmoviks equipped with rockets to the German supply..............
Unzip into your Missions\Single\RU-folder."

I installed the mission to the folder as instructed, but when it comes time to use it there is no way to access it for play. In my limited common sense I'd think that it must be installed in an aircraft folder...the game plane is an Il-2, therefore I would think to install it in the missions/single/ru/ Il-2 folder but there is no aircraft of that kind in my Ru folder. Am I way off on this one? I'd appreciate anybody's help. Is there a best site for free mission downloads?

No that is the right place, you'd want to then load up IL2, go to single missions, click the USSR tab and there you should find the name of the file that you just put in that directory.

Click the mission and it should load the mission fine, no need to mess about with anything.

Tig. I did just that and no name appears in the file directory. The only file that shows is a file that came with the game. Hurricane Mk... Maybe that particular downloaded mission is bad. Any ideas. Thank you.

As to other Missions...Do you have a couple favorite web sight for free downloads?
