Good places to buy cheap Steam keys?

I had a whole load of bookmarks of good online stores that sell Steam keys for reasonable prices but I lost them all

I'm trying to build the list back up again so was wondering if anyone can help?

You can just say the name of the website if you won't want to link directly to it.

    Thanks.

I bought a steam key for dark souls from ZiiP. I'm not sure how they manage to sell keys for cheap I assume they just open boxed versions maybe? Anyway I got it for £18.99 instead of the £29.99 steam wanted to fleece me for!

Yeh that's a good store. I've used them before cj's cd keys are really good to! They usually do that. I think ziip and cj's sent me a photo of the box key and then I just registered it on Steam. Saves you having to wait for the disc and box to arrive which you just end up registering on Steam anyways! I'm actually trying to get hold of Dishonored right now. Gamers247 has the cheapest steam key I've found so far but I want to keep looking! Getting a good deal on a new game makes my day lol...

I'll put in another vote for Greenmangaming I got Borderlands 2 and the season pass pre-order for just a few pounds more than the game on its own on Steam. I also got 25% off Dishonored pre-order as they had an offer for PC Download titles.

Re: Good places to buy cheap Steam keys?

Greenman are decent service, most cases they actually have a discount coupon code you can also add to an order to bring the price down even more.

Get Games are usually pretty good, run by Eurogamer, they have deals on all the time and usually do a Get Loaded promo once a month which is usually pick 3 titles out of 5 for £20, most cases they are Steam.

Gamersgate aren't to bad but they usually do Digital Disk type versions that require a key and usually activate through Securom or whatever. However, they also do quite a few DRM free and Steam games, you just need to check the games page to see if its the Steam version you are buying.

Gamefly are OK, not a huge catalog though and also check the games before buying as they have their own client.

Shopto are also pretty good, usually have loads of deals on digital and boxed copies of games.

A good starting point I have found is checking the Steam retail keys support page, this lists the retail keys you can actually activate through Steam :

    https://support.steampowered.com/kb_...7480-wusf-3601

So if you see something cheap wherever refer to that list if you are getting a boxed version, comes in handy!

Brilliant! Thanks I'll check these out...

Btw, that Steam list doesn't have Dishonored on it but that's a Steam game so that's a bit weird :/ Seems like a very small list. I don't think they've been updating it!

Re: Good places to buy cheap Steam keys?

I have used Get Games (http://getgamesgo.com/) for Civ V (for £5 a while back) without problems. Good to have a few sites to count on though as prices seem to jump around a bit.

Re: Good places to buy cheap Steam keys?

I have built up quite a list since posting this thread! I found trustpilot pretty good for finding these sites if you look in the right section! Thanks for these recent suggestions though Btw I checked out gaming dragons and thought the prices weren't very good so I dunno if I'll use them... I normally use cjs-cdkeys and ziip. They are cheap and reliable. Check them out

Edit: Simply games is great too!
