Now I wanna know how you felt. On the runway....while you were waiting. What was it like trying to stick with your Wingman? Where did you first see the enemy? Did you swallow your heart back down like I always do

I spent my first VEFs in my pre-Marlin days getting shot down and generally getting lost on snowy maps!
Two VEFs last night - both IL2 missions attacking the dockyards. Killed both times! Bah!

Lastnights mission was going well, over the target with Luke n Leeping got in a tustle with a few 109's shot one, smoked another, turned to cover the IL2's on the way home n got mid-aired
Would of been a 3 kill mission easy I reckon as the one I smoked was going down, plus the one I deffo got n then there were 2more guys chasing the IL2's......
Just checked the logs, apparently that guy shot me down, didnt hear a plane or gunfire but the logs have picked it up as him killing me n then going home and landed...
All I got on screen was I turned back after the IL2's n then exploded..
I hope it wasnt a frikkin lag kill cos I hate them
I had that other day in a VWF heard nothing saw nothing no damage 1 min next wing is off and im out
