    personally, I'd put eject or bombs under the cover, and gear/flaps etc on the throttle....

    Trig, from memory i have the following.

    Stick
    Trigger=machine guns
    b2=cannon
    b3=weap 3
    b4=weap4
    Hat 1=views
    Hat 2 left=landing light/smoke
    Hat 2 right=radiator settings
    Hat2 up=flaps up
    Hat 2 down=flaps down

    Throttle
    D button=center view
    Aux 1 = supercharger
    Mouse button= engine boost
    Mouse hat up=brakes
    mouse hat down=map
    mouse left=decrease prop pitch
    mouse hat right=increase prop pitch
    Throttle hat (the one under yer index finder)
    forward=zoom view in
    left=view normal
    back=zoom view out
    right=gunsight view

    I haven't configured the rotary switches yet... cba to read the manual and figure out how to band them properly and set prop and fuel to them...

    Oh yeah, and I have all of that (less a few bits) set on mode 2 as well, but then I have engine controls on there for multi-engined planes so I can select engines, start em up, fire off the extinguishers etc, but switch back to mode 1 in normal flight etc.

    ps, did you know that the 'Launch' button cover prises off real easy? The damn thing is annoying if it keeps flopping over all the time... (I have that set to start recording though, so I hardly use it)... and the pinkie switch in the base of the grip has a cover that can be prised out for people with fat hands... like me! (I have that one set to PTT on TS, btw)

    What's the name of the server you use?

    I am about tonight if you have room. Wouldn't mind a fly about.

    Cheers Deck, that's one nice post . Thanks. I grasp what your telling me already, but presumably the biggest things are the practice and getting used to the Hard settings, particularly the view settings. Being restricted to cockpit only is so cramped, or perhaps its just me . I will keep at it!

    Cheers again.
    To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

    Yup, Practise is the only way to get good at the game, there really is no special knacks to it all..

    hence why I suck, cos I rarely fly these days.. *mobile target*
