check your passwords and login details still works guys, seems alot of people have been hacked out of their Origin accounts... including me :mad:
not even simple to get your account back which im still trying to figure out through the very inept method they want you to use...
Yeah, this was brought up a few days back about it being hacked.
I think this has happened with SWTOR going free and hackers wanting to get into the MMO accounts.
Just keep an eye on your registered email address for any password change requests.
Sing400 raised it in the BF3 thread, and I did change my password. Thank goodness. :)
I hadn't seen this in that thread, so glad you brought it up, it doesn't seem to have affected me, though I don't play online much so I might have just escaped the attention of those people that are responsible for this
Lost mine yesterday, managed to get on live chat after work though and got it changed pretty damn quick once I found the relevant site (their customersupport email doesnt work anymore :( ).
I hate this, I have changed my password on ea/origin 4 times this year now ive lost access 4 times! This is 4 different passwords that are unique to anything else, all were above 8 characters with numbers and letters, pees me off why does it happen to ea so often!?.
Cant believe it lets you change your email address without giving them the answer to your security question its appalling its that bad,hopefully it doesnt happen again though as my password is now >14 characters long!.
I have had a few emails earlier this year showing password change request. There was one day I changed my password and less than an hour later got the same email. In total that one day I had to change my password 4 times.
I have just changed it again there just to be safe, includes numbers, letters including a few caps and also a few characters, total length has gone from 8 up to 15!
mine got hacked last week, they started being funny about who i was until i pointed out my MOHW and BF3 were both developer editions and if needs be i would have a member of the dice team contact them direct, soon had it back then!
