    Far Cry 3

    Hey guys,

Just added another game play on my channel of Far Cry 3. Haven't got around to doing a review yet, but for now all i can say is WOW! Hats off to these guys, they really have done a great job with this game.

Here's a clip of a few of us playing the co-op.

I loved Far Cry 1 but unfortunately my PC could not run 2 and 3.

Loved far cry. I was kinda disappointed with the single player ending but the game play was immense!

This was my first Far Cry and I think it was fantastic. It looked amazing and I found the story to be interesting.

    Re: Far Cry 3

Currently playing through this and loving it. It's vastly superior to the previous games imo.

The singleplayer story is gripping and drew me into the character and story.

I can't say much more without giving away anything but I've truly been surprised and impressed by some of the events in the story.

There are flaws of course as in any game of this kind. The classic: "*shrug* Must have been those rebels..." as the mook stands beside the corpse of his buddy.

My second gripe is that you are naive about the ways of killing at the start; yet you can skin all kind of animals for their pelts. A task that you have to do to expand your inventory.

I do recommend the game if you're looking for an fps to play. It will steal the hours away from you.

    Re: Far Cry 3

I've got my PC plugged in to my TV at the moment and it really is a lot of fun

The "good guys" are all a bunch of douche bags though, I mean wow. If it's intentional, then they really have done an amazing job. If these kinds of characters are meant to appeal to us, wow.... just... I ....

I'm aware there is a story going on in the game, but I really don't care too much about it, the actual game though is really, really fun I don't really bother with fast travel, because wandering across the islands is fun in itself. I'm really enjoying the base missions at the moment and whether I perform a stealth attack to perfection or utterly mess it up, it's still just as satisfying.

I really love the graphics too, mainly because of the colours. It's really nice to play such a bright colourful game.

It looks like a cross between Skyrim and Just Cause 2. Must admit playing in JC2 made me feel more on holiday than Skyrim

    Re: Far Cry 3

I have fond memories of playing the first Farcry, and it was the first game played on my new rig at the time (a good way of seeing what it was capable of). Bought a new set up at the end of last year, it only makes sense that I get this to christen the new PC.
