    Bridges!

Just did my first fly under, although watching the replay it was a wonder that i came out of it with a right wing! My question is how do I convert these tracks to something watchable outside of il2?

I think most people record with fraps and that saves it as an AVI file.

yeah...FRAPS 2..it costs though. You can get a demo version, but it cuts after 30 seconds and leaves the FRAPS logo in the bottom.

Warning though....it records in AVI and they are HUGE...and the fram erate is determined by your entire hard drive and CPU system.....so no matter how lovely and smooth it looks in game, FRAPS can drop your frame rate to a crawl

    forget recording.....

try this.....go low and really really fast...

go under the bridge and then see if you can loop the loop and make it under again, going same direction, in one go!

that sorts the men from the Kamikazee

My best result is flying under 2 bridges next to each other, then pull a loop and dive down and under the 3rd bridge. I have a track Ill dig it out

Did a bridge once just now and then pulled a tight turn to come back under at about 450 in a fw190, Just clipped the bridge. A bit of a mess really. MAy make a vid of it though.

One trick with video and fraps is to play the track at half speed and record with fraps at 15 fps. Then use anther tool such as premier or what ever to double the speed. Quality tends to improve that way I believe
