    lol

Don't get too excited - Its an oldie fellas

Microprose Gunship, about 4 years old now but still has stunning graphics and playability - should be able to pick it up for a fiver on ebay

Why not try the demo ? you get to try the Westland Apache, only 16Mb

The demo is NOT the fully patched final game, so things aren't fully working properly, the patch changes a hell of a lot, but if you want to see how it functions visually, check it out

That's pretty much what everybody says
Graphically it is still up there (some of the a/c are getting high res versions made because of the texture sizes when we weren't running 128 & 256Mb cards).

It's more of a strategy simulator than a systems simulator though - have to be sneaky!
& for those who care about such thing multi-player is solid - you can also play with 1 person as pilot & 1 as gunner in the same a/c if you want.
(apologies to Skii for butting in )

Did you try the patched version?
Have you tried it with the various improvements made to it since?

Thing is that all 3 set out to be different things & they are all good at what they do.

If you know the history of Gunship! then you know that originally it ws intended to work inconjunction with M1TP3. Unfortunately when Microprose was bought M1TP3 was cancelled & the Gunship! that was released was not the full product that the development team had originally intended.
