Best gaming mouse out of these two? (or another viable option...)

    Hi

Thinking of investing in my first proper gaming mouse

Any experience with either of these?

    Corsair Vengenance M60
    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsa...ormance-gaming

    or

    Logitech G700
    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/logit...i-rechargeable

Please help me decide which to buy, or if anyone has another good suggestion that'd be great too!

    Ta

What sort of gaming? Are we talking FPS here?

What sort of grip do you use?

    Hi Willzzz

I generally play L4D2 and some RTS games so I guess FPS is applicable here.
Grip wise I've always used the very bog standard dell wired mouses, so I'm afraid I can't be any more specific - any ideas welcome!

    Wired or wireless?

If you want wired, and fairly robust, the Logitech MX518 is a winner. I think I've had mine about 7 years. There is a newer version out now as well...

Re: Best gaming mouse out of these two? (or another viable option...)

For another wired option, I have the Logitech g9x, and have no complaints.

My brother's got the MX518 mentioned above, but I found it a bit too.. big in the hand, I'm not sure. Bit subjective.

Also, I prefer laser mice, and the g9x has two different grips, and adjustable weights, which is handy too I suppose...

Anyway, just a thought . I can't actually comment on your origional two choices there I'm afraid.

Saying that, this looks pretty awesome: http://www.razerzone.com/ouroboros but I've no idea if it's any good or not

+1 for the g9x. although if those are the games you're playing mainly then i'd probably save the money and spend it on something else as l4d and RTS' don't require you to adjust the weight of your mouse really as there's no split second requirement to be spot on with your aiming.

sorry i can't recommend anything else, only had a g9x and other generic mice!

I love my Sidewinder X8. Wireless most of the time, but wired when it needs a charge or you are worried about lag (I dont believe theres a difference but maybe thats because i dont have the skillz!!!)

Amazon's selling one that's good for the gaming you do. It's £6.34.

Search for the Zalman ZM-M300 on Amazon. Reviews are good on Youtube also.

you need to get yourself to your nearest decent PC store and try them both, there is no way to know which will be most comfortable for you however i personally would always put forward a logitech as im a bit of a fanboy

Re: Best gaming mouse out of these two? (or another viable option...)

I have to say a good value for money Gamming mouse is Logitech MX518. I've had two in my time with the second one having a higher dpi (if you like that sort of thing).
But out of the two you said: My friends has the G700 and he loves it as it can also be cording (charging), as well as having alot of buttons.

Re: Best gaming mouse out of these two? (or another viable option...)

I'm rather happy with my m90 if thats any help. I use it for mmos and first person shooters.

Btw don't worry about dpi at all, never known anyone use above 1800 but having a higher, switchable dpi that what you use normally means it's a bit smoother.

The G400 is a very good mouse, flawless sensor, whole array of buttons.
If it doesn't appeal to you, I'd definitely check out zowie.
Currently using a Zowie EC1 Evo which I love
