Just wondering what your opinion is on the whole War-Z situtation, the developer seems like a bit of a nob if you ask me

I guess what bothers me the most is how could Valve allow the game to be sold on steam in the first place.
So it brings into question how really thorough is their certification process?
I hope it's a one off and at least they've finally done the honourable thing to remove the game from steam and offer refunds which they seldom do.
The plagiarism in War-Z has been seemingly blatant, Kotaku showed a "mild" infraction but a funny example here http://kotaku.com/5969927/some-war-z...e-walking-dead
To give valve some credit though they have actually stopped taking payments for the game since the controversy arose, if you go on the game page now you can't buy it
I am against the micro-transaction system just because if they were going to include that then why not make it F2P and why is it there? I thought the point of survival was to scavenge for your resources. Oh well, some may like it but it's not my cup of tea I appreciate that they gave people refunds and all that but maybe there should have been some kind of check before the game went live?
that dev in the interview with gamespot came across as a right bellend hope they get sued for their rip off of the arma 2 mod day z
Shockingly bad PR reputation from the dev, he should really know better than to project that tone and image!
One big scam imo, The developer is nothing but a conman..
So much hype, so little development. I was so exicted about this game but i guess i have to wait a little longer....
It was a way of cashing in on the DayZ hype before the standalone version gets released, nothing more. When developers are far more interested and focused on money than making a decent game, then it's not something anyone should get behind.
I stupidly bought into this for the Beta, such a bad bad game, lesson learnt.
