@ Admin: Can't access my account on the new Scan.uk forum

Had to make a new account for the new forum, after activation and moderator approval I still can't access my account.
Tried to reset my password several times with "lost password" but it says "I entered the wrong security word/letters". (It does not recognize my e-mail I have entered?)

My name on the new forum is: YoungTurks

Probably best to ask this in the Scan forum.

You will need to contact Scan directly with this. We have a Scan support section which is run by the Scan guys and ties into the HEXUS forums, however, if you are wanting to use the scan.uk forums its an entirely different site to HEXUS.

You could try posting in our Scan support section and they may be able to help you from there.

First thing, and I know it's a bit obvious, but you are being careful with upper and lower case, I presume? Passwords are usually case-sensitive.

Second, as others have pointed out, are you referring to the Scan sections on HEXUS, in which case, we can help, or to Scan's own forums, in which case, we have no involvement .... and to be honest, I didn't even know they existed.

It might not be immediately obvious, but Scan and HEXUS are completely different companies. HEXUS merely host a support section for Scan here. The best bet is as Ferral suggested .... clearly, if you cannot get on to their forums, you can't ask there, so I'd suggest asking in the Scan zection here if it's their own forum, and hopefully staff Scan staff there can sort your problem.

Note - there is no user with the name you quote (YoungTurks) on Hexus, so if you're trying to log in here with that, this will be why it isn't working. ;)
