The Man with the Silver Spot
Perhaps it is actually the Polikarpov 1-15bis from the Flying Legends show. Maybe it didn't make it's way back to Russa?
The Man with the Silver Spot
you mean we STOLE it and they have forgotten it existed!
That gives me hope of keeping the Yak in my garage![]()

Clingy - it is an I-15.... no retractable under carriage and the pilot looks forward UNDER the main plane... the I-153 has the pilot looking over the top - much lower wing... looked proper scary tho, sat next to Concorde
AND.. there's a Yak 3 in about 3 bits being restored in one of the hangers.. next to... A GLADIATOR!! You were right about that engine cowling Zak - it IS the exhaust manifold... the engine was sitting in a hoist right next to the wire - got to stick me head in and have a proper lookthere was a mkIIc Hurri sat in the hangar too, with a suspiciously shiny new propellor on it
