Has anyone got any gaming mouse recommendations?! FPS games played mostly. For average sized hands don't want anything to big! No need for copious amounts of extra buttons but a few would be nice. Thanks in advance!

I can highly recommend the Corsair M60. Small, extremely responsive, 5 buttons + sniper control.
Hello
I got an 8000dpi mouse a few weeks ago and apart from being:
1) not skilled enough to take advantage of the available precision
2) not really bothered about weight distribution - through them all in - no RSI or OOS so far :)
Quite a good price and quite a good size compromise - not the biggest, nor too small - probably holdable for all hands.
I likes it anyways (equally as much as, or, maybe, more than, my Microsofts, Razers, Logitechs and Gigabyte)

Cheers
a mouse with a high dpi resolution is what you'll be after if playing FPS' i don't really want to recommend a product since the rest will come down to personal choice but if you're after products to look over i've got a logitech g9x
Have a look at the Cyborg R.A.T Series. Excellent mice.
I find the Razer Imperator to be a fairly good mouse for FPS gaming, and I've heard good things about the logitech G500.
Depends on what sort of grip you use, claw grip, palm grip or something in between those two. I suggest you check some out at a store before you purchase as mice are like shoes.
This is quite a descriptive guide when it comes to mice: http://www.head-fi.org/t/412804/all-...guide-mouse-fi
I use a microsoft basic mouse, with a claw grip and find it OK, but it is on its last legs.
Last week, for my birthday, I got a Razer Naga Molten Special Edition off my missus (for she is a legend :) ).
Lovely in the hand (I have smallish hands too), with teflon feet (for smoothness). And if you stray away from FPS it also has 12 thumb buttons for MMO action.
I have used Roccat Kone + their extremely responsive very customizable and they have the ability to cross talk with the Roccat Isku Keybaord so you can pair them for extra macro hotkeys on the fly. Fits both left and right hands nice and snug comfort check em out
I'd personally have a look at Zowie.
Currently using a Zowie EC1 Evo which I love, also had a go using the AM, which was nice, but too small for my hands :(
They don't muck about with lots of 'fancy' features, just plug and play with a couple of dpi settings, decent sensors and a couple of thumb buttons :)
Out of the myriad of mice I've used over my gaming 'career' I'd recommend the Logitech mx518 and the Gigabyte m6900 as far as quality, precision and bang for your buck go.
Razer Mamba 2012. Amazing mouse
Logitec G5 oldschool :)
Nice suggestions. Need to upgrade from my Microsoft Wireless 5000 set. :S
Yeah Zowie are great.
