    Re: low fps

    If you want a quick system optimisation when playing it try out Razer GameBooster, all it is, is a quick one click optimisation to stop non-essential services and dedicate more usage towards a selected game.

    ARMA 2 is quite CPU intensive also.

    Turn off v sync.

    There's the geforce experience tool which optimises your GPU settings for certain games too.

    Re: low fps

    Shadows on Arma 2 seem to hit fps more than anything else. Turn them down to low or off if you want. Also post possess is another that hits the fps hard just disable it. Also go to documents then Arma2. There will be a CFG file in there. Open it with notepad. Then search for
    GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000;
    GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=2;

    Change the 1000 to 1 and the 2 to 1. This will boost your FPS a bit. Make sure you save file.
