I remember I had the original IL-2 on a 400MHz PII, 512 SDR, 8Mb ATI Rage Pro Turbo. It really didn't like it. When I got a GeForce II it still wouldn't run at full.

off work today. Just thought a 3rd Flyable PC might be good.....SP2 is going in at mo tho
It'll JUST run on my Athlon 850 with 512meg and a GeForce2... but thats with ALL details turned down to absolute minimum in 800x600.
I set it to 640x480 DirectX and the game booted up UPSIDE DOWN :confused:
the entire menu and mouse are inverted
Musta installed the Australian versio
have tried 800x600 and 1024x768...
tried Open GL now too....
the first screen while the game boots is upright...then the LOADING screen with the grey LA5 is upside down.
SO is the menu !!!
and ideas?
The video card (Intel Exreme-ly pants) has a hot key for Inverting of rotating the screen, so I got quite excited...for 3 seconds.
Only works on desktop :(
