    Talking Im new here and in need of help on setting up a gaming rig

    PROBLEM HAS BEEN FIX BY dfour and i thank you

    HI TO ALL THAT COULD HELP ME COMPLETE MY PLAN ALL SPEC WILL BE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS

    OK HERE IS THE PLAN I HAVE IN MY HEAD BUT I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS DO-ABLE

    I WANT 3X 24" MONITOR RUNNING OFF (PC 1) AND 1 24" MONITOR FOR MY SERVER/NAS WITCH IS (PC 2) SO IT LOOKS LIKE 4X 24" MONITOR.
    WHEN I GET MY FINGER OUT ILL BE MAKING UP MY TABLE TO HOUSE (PC 2) SO NO-KNOW ONE CAN SEE IT AND ALL YOU CAN SEE IS (PC 1) AND 4X MONITORS MY HEADACHE IS

    1. IS (PC 1) good for GAMING or do i need to upgrade after or before i get a gpu ?
    2. IS (PC 1) ok for 3 24"MONITORS after or before i get a gpu?
    3. what GPU can run 3 24" monitor and play game my price is 300 pound for 1 card or 500 for 2 that can do this job?

    WHEN I SAY (PC 1) IT MEANS THIS SPEC

    £1500 until payday then ill have say another 200 pound to play with so on the 28th the budget will be £1700
    that for the monitors and GPU HOPEFULLY

    On pc 1 I would not buy 1333 ram buy 1600 as its not much more but is the sweet spot for performance. Why do you need a 24" screen for s server/nas?? Use a old 17" or something like that.

    I would guess you would need a HD7950/7970 or 670/680 to drive games well on 3*24" or maybe even 2 of each depending upon how much eye candy you want. Nice monitors BTW

    Buy a better psu than a builder series. NEVER SKIMP on a psu. Like a

    If you plan to go sli/Xfire (with top end gpu's) then you may need something more in the region of 800+ like a

    THANK FOR THE HEADS UP I GOT THE RAM 16GB VENGEANCE 1600 AND YOUR RIGHT ITS DEFO IMPROVED THE OVERALL SPEED I THINK ILL GO WITH SEASONIC SS 650RM AND THE 7970 FOR THE MEAN TIME O I ALL SO WENT FOR 3 24" FOR (PC 1) AND ILL BE USEING A WEE 7" CAR MONITOR COUNTER SINK IN THE TABLE SO IN SHORT THANK YOU DFOUR FOR THE INFO
