    Re: Battlefield 4

    As a very-wild-ass-guess.

    To max it out ?
3770 (Able to use HT ?)
    8gb Ram (no idea really)
7990 (As this was used in teaser trailer)

    More reasonably
    3570
    8gb
    680/7970

    min spec
    i3/A10
    4gb
    660/7850
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

    Re: Battlefield 4

I'm sure BF4 will have basically the same requirements as BF3 with one change. A 64-bit version of a Windows Operating System will be required. DICE have been talking about making this changeover for sometime. BF4 looks like that time.

    Re: Battlefield 4

I sincerely hope BF4 (and most other games) adopt 64 bit natively sooner, rather then later.

Would be nice for people with large amounts of RAM to load everyone once at the beginning and not bits here and there, which I see as the biggest boon from it.

As for system requirements, I expect them to be the same or similar.

I actually caved and pre-ordered it there other day! Earliest pre-order I have ever done......29quid for it with the first expansion seemed good and it's already gone up a fiver in the last few days.

    Re: Battlefield 4

I really feel like EA are rushing out the games which disappoints me alot. BF3 was pretty good on the eyes, the gameplay was good but no way as fun as bf2 imo.

    Re: Battlefield 4

I'd rather have the same engine but better gameplay than graphics etc but I guess thats just my personal preference. MMS are kind of stagnant imo since they just copy each other and are only different by a few things in the game.

    Re: Battlefield 4

Can't say I've tried many 64-bit game clients. Of the ones I've tried such as Unreal Tournament 2004 64-bit and World of Warcraft 64-bit. You get a very small boost. Maybe 8% tops.

    No huge performance improvement unfortunately.

The real advantage of 64 bit OS's is obviously memory. I'm sure a game like BF3 is held back by the 32-bit memory limitations.

I think this will be what we'll be looking at. Also get ready for the Freemium Micro transaction fever, you'll be paying £0.69 for every three bullets you fire.
