    Zowie Gear

I've been thinking of getting a mechnical keyboard for a while, and also I want to get my mate a decent mouse.

I'm thinking of buying a Zowie Celeritas and Zowie Mico and donating my current Razer Abyssus to my friend.

Anyone got any thoughts on Zowie gear?

Or indeed on Kustom PCs as a company to buy from.

Any company that purposely spells things wrong is a down-vote in my book.

But I can be a grammar Nazi from time to time...

I like to think that someone else had already registered Custom PCs and that the K was simply a convenience rather than an active choice.

    Ignorance is bliss

They do look like some decent peripherals though.

IMO, keyboards are keyboards, they're all pretty similar and unless you spend ALOT of time with it you're not really going to notice the subtle difference's between them like noise and tactile feedback...

The mouse though is something that you should definitely think about, £30 for a simple 3 button mouse is a bit much, you could buy yourself a plain business use HP laser mouse for a fiver somewhere and have it perform at the same level... I'd go for a fancy gaming mouse like http://www.amazon.co.uk/MCB4370300B2...ords=rat+mouse

I've got the wireless R.A.T 9 and I love how customisable these things are, fits my hand like a dream, looks like something out of the Batman movies and has all the extra buttons for gaming but works just fine as a word processing mouse.

    Ignorance is bliss.

No £5 mouse is going to perform at the same level as a gaming grade mouse.

I get on well with my Abyssus, but the Mico seems to have a better place to put your thumb and is smaller and lighter so I can pull it back closer to my palm.

Well not on the same level, the point I was making is that you get around the same level of features...

If you prefer your mice simple have a look at the Razer Mamba, very nice mouse.

Forgot to ask, any particular budget ?

Well anything under £7000, so the Mamba is out I'm afraid

But seriously, anything wireless is out.

Haha, nice find, but it's totally worth that price...

The wired version is the Naga if you liked the Mamba ?
