    VEF scores

Rias got shot up quite badly yesterday, but made it home (S! lass) and did a bit of a "special landing"

She stopped on the runway, inverted, waited 10 seconds and then disco'd

It showed a down by AAA which she expected.

But it showed as a landed in VEF

But she scored -2 where as Luke and Phraktal scored +8

Any ideas what the score is now for a bad landing.

Does it not count? like it used to, as a get home in one bit?

can't remember the full details, yet I know that the scoring system is supposedly geared to mission and role success.. not necessarily to individual achievements.. so minus scores are very easy to get.. THe flipside is that a succesful mission and succesful role play can achieve very high individual plus points

    weelll.....
    its an online WW2 campaign.

Virtual Western Front....ie Russia vs Nazi Luftwaffe.

Each mission is reported back and you gotta be registered to a squadron to play. Then the Eastern Front moves according to our success.

We're in 1944 at the mo.....its been a long long struggle (about 8 months as I recall) to get to this point

    Its the most excitement ever

    S!

Rias got -10 off her total score (She SHOULD have had +8 points) - I'm guessing you used landing lights or tipsmoke during landing Sair? Both are now punished by each turn on/off so you got -10 for turning them on once.

It's to stop FPS and ROSS flying as Stalin's Flashlights so you gots to use nav's only!!

gawd......I'll text her the good news

Bet she hit them by accident....I'll get her to reconfig them...mine are now CNTRL plus a button hit because of that.

I type away, and realise I've flashed my light, and smoked on/off 3 times before realising

    Cheers

Pants.... Oh well.. I'll know for another time!!
I DID use landing lights (unfortunatly it WAS intentional!) cos there were so many people landing at the base that I thought I had better make everyone know I was about to land ...or to ATTEMPT to land!!

Although it was intentional this time, I think I'll change Landing Lights from SPACE to something more complicated though cos its way too easy to hit SPACE in the middle of a panic!!

Fanks for solving the mystery anyway!!

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.
