You didn't tell me what you were doing either, which pi$$ed me off more TBH - I was flying on the heading and only Clingy was following, yet I thought you were all there
And then it was me and Clingy trying to fend off IL2's for a couple of mins until Geist came - got one but Deckard was a goner by the time I'd been killed
Straight after talking about good teamwork and comms, we had a mission without any at all
Nice score Geist
Ya see I'm not there and it all falls apart
I was shot to hell after a b n z from a 109 or 190... he was too fast to tell which. One pass and my elevator and rudder was gone. I dropped my bombs and managed to hit a couple of cars, then headed south for a bit before turning for the lines... Obviously not far enough though, as I was taken out about 5 minutes later.... not much you can do with just ailerons.... even less with with only one wing!
Still, we had a damn good game the mission before, I got my first ever B'n'Z kill and was being covered by Geisty while I was doing it... then I climbed back up and covered him while he had a pop at a 110...
Shame he pranged it on landing...
Wish I could say I contributed. 40 mins waiting for mission to get going (incl an abort), 10 mins to all hit fly, 20 mins to target, 1 minute to get shot down.
Sucker punch really. Spotted a 190 with Navs of flying nice and straight, lined him up and BOOM I explode as his mate does the honour.
But, yeah, we weren't really organised in that one. Having said all that it was my first VEF since all my problems and I lurrrrved it. Only one or two config things to sort and I should be back to square one!
The Man with the Silver Spot

Looks like the team thing dies some days

that 190 put his navs on when he first got targeted. i know this cos it was I who was shooting at him did lose him tho so might have been a diffrint 190 but kinda dout it.
was abit serprised that a direct hit from the 39's cannon to just behind the cockpit (i think) on the 190 didnt do much...
I clearly called the bomber had cut straight in front of me and I was having a popOriginally Posted by luke313
