Once you get onto the higher level MP settings using the AH is probably a given.

You could just ignore it I've completed the game without touching either AH and it's great fun

Ah well. Its not in the console release which was prob a better idea

Well the game isn't balanced for everyone having silly gear, given an unskilled player like me can complete it on all difficulties using just the normal dropped gear. Beyond that, you can make increase the difficulty further using the same monster power type settings that you had in Diablo 2 and it works in much the same way as it did then, with people who bought items on the black market having a similar effect. But just play your own game at your own monster power setting and if you want to invite random people to party with you then they'll leave soon enough if it's not tricky enough for them, leaving you the players who are about the same equipment level as yourself. Or just play with friends

I listed quite a lot of stuff that looked nice to someone starting the game at cheap money. Only had the one taker.

Perhaps if I read around and tried to understand the market more I could have done better, but as it is that was probably 80p per hour for effort, well under minimum wage

So the expansion is only console , why no pc ?

I will say it looks a lot more like it should of at least, but with watered classes from D2 .

Been playing it couch coop with 3 mates and plenty of beer and really enjoying it again. Don't think I'll go back to the PC version

My bro was a die hard d2 fan with hundred of hours mp time. He's not very pleased with d3. He was always complaining about the auction house and low drop rate for decent items. With the recent removal of the auction house(I think?) has the game improved at all?? I'm kinda wanting to get in to it.
