    Problems with Trine 2

I bought Trine 2 and for some reason, I'm unable to play the game with details on high or very high, even though several others seem to be able to do so with similar hard ware....
When set to High or Very High (independent of anti aliasing) the background fully renders, but the foreground stays a kind of reddy blue colour...

    Help?

Edit : an overclock to 4.2 on the cpu and up another 100mhz on the GPU made little difference

What is your full spec, CPU, RAM, VGA Card

It could be something as simple as a driver update for the VGA card

I have a GTX660, same drivers as you, and also have this same problem with Trine 2.

I did not have this problem with the older drivers.

Therefore I am guessing its a driver issue, although its difficult to rule out other possibilities, (such as maybe a recent auto-update from steam broke the game or something)

    Re: Problems with Trine 2

I found a similar thread in the Steam forums that pretty much say that it's due to the new drivers. I've also realised I've started installing the NVIDIA drivers and not the EVGA, which I'll go do now .

edit: would the drivers from the EVGA be website be any different? I've always assumed they'd be better optimised somehow....

edit2: downgraded just the GPU drivers to 314.22 and the blue screen has gone. Thanks for the help!
