Just had to bail because a lag spike (about 1 frame every four seconds) left me in spiral dive with a broken engine and no control :(

By pure luck my parachute drifted over friendly lines :)

gutted :( - first mission after the Jiri hyperlobby ineturruption took off without any engine sound (just the wind), and no engine sound from other planes, no sound of gunfire (just the whistle of the shells). I opted to land instead of risking my 178 points, but ended up mucking up the landing and coming down too heavily! Very tricky to judge when you can't hear the engine settings. Would have been better off trying to fight, at least I could have bailed! No luck tonight - just lag spikes and sound failures!
