Watching games on youtube.
This is a difficult one.
I'm hyped up by all the marketing behind AAA titles but tbh I cba to even start playing them; I really want to know what goes on. I've started watching youtube for the combined cutscenes of games.
I 'watched' tombraider at the weekend. The storyline was a bit depressing and to be honest I think the two hours was more enjoyable than if I was actually playing the game. I've never found games like this rewarding when playing them; either they are not difficult enough or my lack of skill lets me down.
There are a number of games I'm looking at now. Is this wrong?
Re: Watching games on youtube.
I do this too for PC and console games mainly there are games I would like to play are not available or not been made for PC such as Square-nix publishers like Final Fantasy games.
Some games include some new games either doesn't appeal to me or suit my style of play. I find myself either buying hack and slash games or console ported games because... I find myself button mashing during certain parts of the game :p I tend to look for games that are from Japanese or Chinese company.

Tomb raider imho was an excellent game using the weapons system etc is among the best in gaming its just sooo satisfying getting kills and it looks awesome on pc. It wasnt too hard and think you would've enjoyed it. Pick it up on sale and you won't regret it
